For the first time, all five Sookie Stackhouse short stories
are collected in one volume for easy enjoyment while awaiting new installments to the Southern Vampire series. Beginning with “Fairy Dust”, Sookie is hired by fairies to do a bit of mental eavesdropping in order to discover a murderer’s identity, she then finds herself getting some unwelcome attention at Fangtasia’s Halloween party in “Dracula Night.”
“One Work Answer” is a more complex story that picks up shortly after Sookie’s cousin was staked in a New Orleans cemetery. It includes a demon lawyer, Babba, Bill and a vampire queen plus a neat twist on a murder mystery. When one insurance agent’s business begins doing exceptionally well, Sookie assisted by her witchy housemate Amelia, look behind the scenes to see what’s responsible in “Lucky.” Before Sookie can sink into holiday depression, she discovers a wounded werewolf on her property in desperate need of assistance. By rendering aid, Sookie receives a special Christmas package in “Gift Wrap.”
These are not new stories but they’re great fun all the same, especially with the nice introduction by Harris that places them chronologically into the overall series. Although these short stories can stand alone, readers ought to be familiar with the Sookie Stackhouse series to fully appreciate them.

NON SONO TUTTI E 9 I LIBRI IN UN UNICO VOLUME...sono delle piccole storielle che qui in Italia non sono state pubblicate..ma ve le consiglio se ve la cavate con l'inglese....

comprare su amazon comporta tasse non indifferenti di solito..aspettate che sia uscito negli Usa almeno...
io Dead and Gone il libro 9 l'ho acquistato ma su libreriauniversitaria.it o ibs.it non ricordo....(il primo è legato alal feltrinelli..quindi tratta anche l'international..)

sono piccole storie che vedono come protagonista Sookie e altri....
di solito le Harris le rilasciava dopo ogni racconto...
molto carina è Dracula's NIght con Eric e Pam anche, per il compleanno di Dracula al Fangatsia....

No sono racconti a parte...Dracula's NIght è all'incirca dopo il libro 4 mi pare...ma sono episodici, raccontano un evento in cui lei è coinvolta ma non parlano dei libri fini a se stessi insomma......
